About the Event

Starting on Monday, October 31 and going for four Mondays, 7:30 PM-9:30 PM I will be leading a zoom group on the topic “Dealing with inflation and high interest rates from a biblical perspective”.

Inflation is currently the worst it's been in for decades, and interest rates of increased substantially in just the last several months.  Many people whose personal cash flows were very tight before hand are now finding that they have a deficit each month and they are accumulating more debt.  Many people have found their mortgage payments of increased by 20-40% and they just can't afford it.  And of course, inflation is increasing at a rate that's much greater than peoples salary increases so lots of people are hurting financially.

As everyone knows, inflation and high interest rates are currently major problems.  Many people are facing a substantially increased mortgage payment as well as other loan payments and of course everyone has to deal with an increased cost of living.

As a result, many people are struggling to make ends meet and feeling stressed about their finances because of these significant increase in costs.  However, we have a solution!

In this series, Tom is going to teach the biblical principles of managing money with a particular emphasis on how to deal with increased mortgage payments, other loan payments, and the increased the cost of living.  He will teach you how to develop and implement a budget, to ensure that you spend less than you earn and have a surplus to pay down debt.

Further, Tom will share some specific ideas with respect to increasing your income and reducing expenses.  He will also discuss shared accommodation the benefits the potential downfalls thereof and provide a checklist of items to consider before deciding to share accommodation with someone.

As usual, Tom will provide lots of Scriptures in the process of his teaching and a number of real-life case studies so you understand the practical application of the biblical financial principles.
